Our Multi-Manager Approach

Since the start of Transamerica Funds in 1985, we have used multiple outside firms to manage our mutual funds. This approach is based on our belief that no single firm can be the best at managing all investment strategies all the time.

Our approach has resulted in two series of investment solutions: the Morningstar Series*, which is funds-of-funds with Morningstar Associates as portfolio construction manager and multiple firms as underlying fund managers, and the Transamerica Investment Management Series.
